Just when we thought yesterday's was the last snowstorm for the year, we woke
up on Sunday morning to about 5" of fresh snow! This made for some of the
best riding ever.

Eagle from the deck |
|
You can barely see it, but an eagle sat in this tree for about 1 1/2 hours. I shot this picture from our deck door. |

The fresh snow made the trails absolutely gourgeous. It was hard to pay attention to our driving with the beautiful scenery. |

More beautiful snow |
|
I got a little carried away snapping shots of the trails surrounded by snow covered trees. The next several photos don't do justice to how beautiful it was. |

Deep snow |
|
Dave and Jon playing in the deep snow. And of course getting stuck. I called this deep snow, not powder. It was HEAVY thick snow and VERY deep. |
