Jon and Dave's Road Trip Out West -- September 18 - October 2, 2007
Dave and I needed to drive Danielle's new car out to her at University of Arizona, so we decided to make a road trip of it through The Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. What a trip! We were gone a total of 14 days and camped in my little backpacking tent for the first 7 nights. Staying in a rustic lodge cabin after that felt like luxury! I had never been to any of these National Parks before and it was fantastic. We saw wildlife like crazy...Buffalos, Elk, Moose, Bear (including aGrizzly), Deer, Pronghorn, and lots of others.
