Day 1
This was a mileage day. We drove west through Illinois, Wisconsin,
Minnesota, and South Dakota. In total we drove about 750 miles. We
stopped to camp at a South Dakota State Park on the Missouri River. It was
a pretty large campground, but we were the ONLY ones camping! It was a
beautiful spot on the river, which looked more like a lake where we were.
Basically pitched camp, made dinner, slept, and left first thing in the morning.
