Our Favorite Area Restaurants
| Baertschy's Pine Gables - Eagle River | This is one of our favorite restaurants. They have a varied menu, but their specialty is definitely German food. The fish-fry is also one of the best in the area. A bit pricey, but worth it once in awhile |
| Golden Pines - St. Germain | Very good food, also some German specialties. I believe German night is on Thursday. |
| Wolf Pack Cafe - St. Germain | Simply the best breakfast, anywhere. We always look forward to going there for the pancakes. For lunch, they also have great burgers. |
| Clearview - Big St. Germain | Right on our lake. Very good steaks. Make sure to get the sautéed mushrooms to accompany your steak. |
| Vinchi's Hillside - Sayner | Great pizza, but the real attraction is the wildlife feeders. Watch deer, bear, etc while you dine. This place can get really crowded on summer weekends -- expect to wait. |
| Monical's Pizza - Woodruff | If you like really thin crust pizza, this is the place to go. Very thin and very crispy and very, very good. |
| Fibbers - Big St. Germain | Right across Big St. Germain lake from our place. We like to take the boat over during the summer. Great deck overlooking the lake. This is our summer "go to" place for a quick bite. |
| 19th Hole - St. Germain | Very convenient for a quick burger or sandwich. |
| Sayner Pub - Sayner | Very good, thin crust pizza. Never had anything else there. |
| Stillwaters - Star Lake | Very popular snowmobiler hang-out. Good burgers and I really like the BBQ Pork sandwich. I've never eaten dinner there, but the menu looks good. |
| Sister's Saloon - St. Germain | "Has the BEST Friday fish fry in the northwoods. All you can eat pan fried Pollack." This review from good friend and fellow Bradford Point resident - Jeff B. |
| Blink Bonnie | This steak place is legendary in the northwoods, although I had never been there. The problem is the wait can be VERY long. Update: Well I finally tried it during a quiet weekend this spring, and I must say the steak was outstanding. Definitely worth going to, but I'd find a slow weekend in the northwoods when the wait will be more reasonable. |
| White Stag | On Highway 17 in Sugar Camp. Very good steaks. |
| Norwood Pines | Beautiful setting and very good food, with good variety. We especially enjoy Mexican night, which I think is on Monday. We don't get here very often because it is a little drive for us, but is definitely worth visiting. Located just west of Minocqua on 70 west. |
| Otto's | Great German bar/grill in downtown Minocqua. They have a big fire place that always has a warm fire burning -- very toasty on a cold winter afternoon. Good burgers/brats and German beers. |

| Mama's Supper Club - Hwy 70, west of 51 | Mark W. | Very, very good Italian and very good pizza. Bar is very smoky. Call ahead for reservations. |
| Lac Du Flambeau Casino - Lac Du Flambeau | Mark W. | It is a buffet and basically caters to the professional eaters (I've felt like that after a day of snowmobiling). Cheap, lots of variety, and at the casino. |
| Pea Patch - Downtown Manitowish | Mark W. | Best burger by a dam site (whatever that means). Best Friday fish fry. Great chili cheese omelet for breakfast. |
