Trails east of Big Arbor Vitae were in excellent condition, most notable 11 and 7 South. Trails south of Highway 70 to Lake Tomahawk were also in excellent condition -- groomed and very runnable. From Lake Tomahawk Trail 270 to 70E and 70A to St. Germain were good with the four lane sections being excellent into St. Germain. A little bumpy around the Rainbow Flowage and in town around the St. Germain area, but not bad.
Today around 2 inches of new snow was received in the afternoon. With trails being groomed tonight, weekend riding looks excellent. However, with heavy traffic over the weekend, do expect the trails to deteriorate somewhat from the current excellent conditions.
No new snowfall is expected over the next two days.
