Took a good ride yesterday afternoon (Thursday)...trails were in generally in very good condition.  We made a big loop from Big St. Germain up to Conover, then west on trail 8 to Boulder Junction, then back south on trails 15, 11, 51 to 70 and then back to Big St. Germain.  Total about 90 miles.

As I said overall the trails were in very good condition from the recent snows and grooming.  There are still some icey corners to be careful of.  By late in the day, even with relatively light traffic, there were some bumps forming, but what do you expect?  Those aren't concrete roads you're riding on.  The only section of trails that I would classify as just fair - good was in the Boulder Junction area.  It really doesn't look like Boulder got as much snow this week as we did in St. Germain (and from what I hear, Eagle River got even more).  Don't get me wrong, they have plenty of snow, but if we got 12-14" in St. Germain, I would guess Boulder probably got 8-9".  Just a guess and non-scientific observation.

I'm sure it's going to be very crowded out there this weekend, probably starting today.
