We came up riding over the weekend. The trails were in generally awesome condition, but the clear skies and strong March sun began taking a heavy toll on the exposed areas by afternoon -- those areas became fair at best. And you can forget any trails that are on roads.
The first day we rode up to Bent's Camp for lunch and then back down via Bauer's Dam and a quick stop at Murmuring Waters. This was some of the best trail riding we've done in a long time. Total mileage: 116.
If the weather warms up as predicted this week, the riding could be over for the year.
